Dealing with crises and war – The Jewish Grandparents Network

Jewish Grandparents Network

The recent terrorist attacks in Israel and the potential for a major war with Hamas is frightening to all of us — and it may be especially difficult for our grandchildren. In this session, Dr. Sharona Maital will discuss how we and our grandchildren experience crises. Based on her experience working with children in Israel, especially in times of crisis, Dr. Maital will present resources that promote resilience
and offer practical tips for talking with our children about these terrible events. Participants will also share their thoughts and feelings and practice some techniques to promote open communication with our grandchildren.
